Decentralized and automized lighting
Before the lighting renovation, the NN Concept parking in Barcelona had outdated luminaires that consumed high levels of energy. Núñez i Navarro, aiming to decarbonize their portfolio, selected LEDCity’s technology to address these issues. Installing the intelligent lighting system by LEDCity provided energy savings of 86%, as the luminaires now only dim up where and when needed. This switch results not only in a reduction of operating hours of the lighting but also in in approximately 38,000 euros in cost savings over the lifespan of the light sources. Despite such large savings, the users of the parking and staircases still feel safe as there is a base lighting level of 10%. And since all sensors and control components are integrated into each light source, the installation was simple and efficient.
