Launch of the intelligent circular luminaire ‘Rhea’

We are delighted to launch our new intelligent LED round luminaire, the NOMUS Rhea. The NOMUS Rhea combines aesthetics with intelligence and efficiency, because thanks to the integrated NOMUS Sensor Node, the Rhea automatically recognises when and where light is needed, enabling impressive energy savings of up to 80% compared to other LED round luminaires. The fact that the intelligent control is integrated directly into the luminaire also eliminates the need for external components such as central motion detectors. This not only results in a cost-efficient installation, but also significantly reduces maintenance costs in the long term. The Rhea is therefore the ideal choice for energy-efficient lighting solutions.

A special feature of the Rhea is that it can be used either with NOMUS technology or as a standalone solution with SA technology:

NOMUS Rhea as a connected lighting solution.

For applications where networked lighting is preferred, the NOMUS Rhea is the right circular luminaire. This version offers an advanced all-in-one solution that combines sophisticated LED technology with intelligent algorithms and integrated communication technology. Thanks to wireless networking, the luminaires exchange information with each other and automatically adjust the light intensity and duration to maximise energy savings while ensuring a high level of comfort.

The NOMUS Rhea is therefore very suitable for circulation areas such as stairwells, corridors, entrance areas and covered outdoor areas such as house entrances thanks to its IP54 splash water protection. In addition to circulation areas and ancillary areas, the Rhea’s design and lighting properties make it suitable for communal areas, canteens, cafeterias and sanitary facilities. With the low-glare attachment, the Rhea is also ideal for applications in offices and classrooms.

SA Rhea as a standalone lighting solution.

If a connected lighting solution is not desired, the SA Rhea is the right choice. The simplicity, high efficiency and easy maintenance of the standalone solution is ideal for areas in the building such as stairwells or corridors.

The Rhea is versatile and ideal for corridors, entrances, stairwells and communal areas. With over 100 customisation options, including decorative rings, pendants and emergency light kits, it can be personalised. The pendant version in particular gives entrance areas a unique sense of space.
