Conversion to sensor technology without complex cabling

Fluorescent tubes that burned day and night and caused an annual electricity bill of CHF 15,327 were the reality in the Stettbacherhof parking. Thanks to the connected LEDCity solution, the parking now only lights up when and where people are present. This decentralised sensor system means that the annual energy bill has been reduced to just under CHF 1,950, thus avoiding the emission of 10.6 tonnes of CO2 every year. As the sensor technology is integrated into every LEDCity light source, it was sufficient to replace the outdated sockets and light sources, eliminating the need for complex installations and wiring of motion detectors. This simple yet very effective renovation has already paid for itself after 1.6 years.
