The “Gstühl City” multi-storey car park in Baden has taken a major step towards energy efficiency. In close collaboration with Züri Elektro, LEDCity has completely modernised the lighting in a very short space of time. After a simple conversion, the 500 light sources save an impressive 88 % energy from day one – without passers-by noticing any difference. The car park can now save 143,000 kilowatt hours of electricity per year, which is not only good for the environment, but also for the wallet: In addition to lower installation and maintenance costs, the energy cost savings add up to CHF 210,000 over a period of 10 years.
