The LEDCity lighting in the Umweltarena Spreitenbach not only provides needs-based lighting for the car park and stairwells, but also serves as a tangible demonstration of environmentally friendly lighting solutions.

Experiencing sustainable lighting.
The Umwelt Arena in Spreitenbach sees itself as a centre of excellence for environmental and energy issues, environmental education and sustainable mobility. Andreas Kriesi, deputy managing director of the Umwelt Arena, is very satisfied so far: “If you drive into our garage and see how the lights dim up and down precisely, this also has an educational character. At the Umwelt Arena, we don’t just want to educate people about possible solutions, we also want to set an example ourselves. By converting to LEDCity lighting, we were able to do this in a tangible way.”
The LEDCity lighting solution was used for the first time in autumn 2019. Since then, the multi-storey parking and the four stairwells have been illuminated as required. LEDCity is also present in the exhibition: several informative and humorous panels have been produced on the subject of energy and draw attention to the possibilities of modern lighting solutions.
