Forum FRED 2024

The FRED Forum Romand de l’Éclairage et de la Domotique brings together the increasingly interrelated sectors of lighting and home automation. It will focus on recent activities, innovations and pioneering projects in French-speaking Switzerland. The event will take place on 28 May 2024, between 9am and 6pm, at Beaulieu, Lausanne.

The LIGHTING section will cover a wide range of aspects: technological innovation, the development of products and solutions, research, design, planning and installation of infrastructures and their control, not forgetting research into human-centric lighting and the benefits to be gained in terms of productivity and well-being.

The DOMOTICS section is based on the four fundamental motivations that encourage the construction of increasingly intelligent buildings: comfort (pleasant light, control processes such as automated blinds, etc.), health (temperature, ventilation, measurement of pollutants), safety (protection against burglary or fire, alarms linked to vital parameters to prolong the autonomy of the elderly), and energy efficiency (coordination of photovoltaic production with controllable local consumption such as that of heat pumps, electric vehicle recharging, washing machines, etc.).
