Efficient lighting in Andermatt.

The Chedi Andermatt

At ‘The Chedi’ hotel in Andermatt, over 1,000 sensor-controlled LEDCity lights in the corridors and car park have been saving 78% energy since 2021 thanks to automatic light regulation. This saves the hotel 70,000 kWh of electricity per year, which is equivalent to the consumption of 14 households. In addition, CHF 19,090 of the investment costs were covered by subsidies.

Connected lighting solution in Chur.

Otto & Alex.

The networked lighting system from LEDCity was installed in the Otto & Alex car park in Chur. By switching to the smart lighting solution, energy consumption was reduced by around 90 %. The installed gateways also offer detailed monitoring of energy consumption and sensor data.

Parking Stampfenbach.

The inefficient permanent lighting in the Stampfenbach car park was replaced by the energy-efficient NOMUS solution. This ensures safety by illuminating used areas and dimming unused ones. The result: 80 % energy savings, 54,522 kWh less consumption, CHF 12,268 cost savings and 5,234 kg less CO2 emissions per year.

ZHil Manegg.

600 intelligent LEDCity light sources were installed in the ‘ZHil’ residential complex. Thanks to the connected lighting solution NOMUS, the light follows movements and only illuminates when needed. This energy-efficient technology enables optimum lighting conditions in car parks, stairwells and basements, while minimising energy consumption.

Commercial Center Sihlcity.

LEDCity’s energy-efficient lighting solution, which integrates sensors in every light source, has reduced energy consumption by 93%. This not only reduces operating costs, but also extends the service life of the lighting. This saves CHF 118,348 per year and the investment is amortised in less than 4 years.

VSE.

The Association of Swiss Electricity Companies (VSE) relies on networked and intelligent lighting with NOMUS and saves 78 % energy without employees noticing a change. The system dynamically adapts the light to movement and daylight to ensure maximum efficiency.

Sensor-controlled light in Vevey.

Parking du Simplon.

The Centre Simplon in Vevey, a shopping centre with flats, switched to the sensor-controlled LEDCity lighting system. In the parking, basements and stairwells, semi-autonomous luminaires are generating annual savings of almost CHF 20,000 thanks to reduced lighting duration and the switch to LED technology. Despite the savings, the basic lighting level remains at 20 % to make users feel safe.

Manor AG.

In the Manor multi-storey parking in Thun, the intelligent LED system from LEDCity ensures 85% energy and therefore CO2 and cost savings. Integrated sensors regulate the light autonomously and thanks to the basic lighting of 20 %, visitors feel safe despite the high energy efficiency.

Smart lighting in Lucerne.

City Parking Luzern.

Suva is saving almost CHF 50,000 a year in the Lucerne City Car Park after converting to semi-autonomous LED City tubes. Previously, the inefficient fluorescent tubes burned continuously, which led to high energy and maintenance costs. With the new, energy-efficient LED solution, the tubes only light up when necessary, which reduces the operating time and cuts electricity consumption by 88%.

Varioprint AG.

Varioprint AG has installed around 1,200 light sources across 10,000 square metres of production space. Thanks to high energy savings, the lighting upgrade will pay for itself after just 1.9 years and save more than half a million francs over its entire service life.
